Licensed as an Assisted Living Facility by the State of Texas (#000911).

Incorporated as a non-profit organization since April 1992 and have provided services to brain injury survivors since August 1995.

Operate under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors.

Staffed 24/7, 365 day per year.

Under contract with all three HMOs in the Star-Plus+ Program in the State of Texas, thus allowing us to provide services to Medicaid clients. Prepared to provide services to private pay clients pending bed availability.

The only facility in the state that provides services to heavy care, low-income survivors.
Rainbow House currently has thirteen private rooms, all of which are occupied. Unfortunately, we also have a long waiting list. Clients interested in placement will need to call:(210) 599-1938 or email: info@therainbowhouse.org
Unfortunately, for new residents, we have very little turnover. Families, however, are welcome to add their loved ones to our waiting list at any time by sending an email to this same address or calling the number provided above.
