Rainbow House is a small, non-profit, assisted living facility that provides a home and long-term care for survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). However, it is important to note we are UNIQUE in several important respects.

• We offer an environment that allows each of our residents to truly be the "unique" individuals they are.

• They each have experienced different disabilities and problems caused by their head injury or illness.

• Rainbow House provides an environment, for each of them, in which they can be themselves, receive the care and attention they require and become the best that they can be.

• Rainbow House is truly the chance head injury survivors deserve! We are one of only two such facilities, in the state, offering services to low income needs.

• We provide a real alternative to a traditional nursing home for this class of client.

For many years Rainbow House could only serve six clients at most. Fortunately, in 2006, we more than doubled our capacity to thirteen clients. Unfortunately, we immediately filled all of our rooms and have had a very long waiting list ever since.
